Animal Rescue Directory Assistant
We have been busy behind the scenes creating
a brand new Animal Rescue Directory.
Built upon a dynamic, feature-rich software platform, our directory has interactive state maps for even easier navigation.
Our new and improved directory has breed specific pages, as well as pages that help recruit volunteers, foster families, pet bed and pet food donations, and much, much more!
The Good News… our old Animal Rescue Facebook Directory
had over 5500 listings all across the USA.
The Bad News… we never kept an “email list” with all the contact info of the rescues and shelters in our old directory… and we have no way of “automatically” adding groups from our old directory to our new one.
So… we are recruiting a small army of volunteers, to help us contact each and every group in our old directory, to tell them about our new directory.
5500 is a large number of groups to contact… but split amongst many, many volunteers, it is totally manageable.
If you are highly organized, enjoy helping rescues and shelters, have free time and access to a computer, the internet, email, etc… this position might just be the perfect one for you.
Some people will be able to help a lot… some just a little…
but any help will be greatly appreciated.
